This year\, just before the elections\, it’s intended to demonstrate to the government that climate action should be a priority. \nRecent research shows that 66 percent of young people are concerned about the climate. While they remain aware of the climate crisis\, young people often feel powerless and discouraged by its complexity. \nThe goal of the climate march is to reconnect and empower young people around the issue of climate. Together\, we can and must stand up to demand a safe future from the next government. \nJoin this important protest!

To do this effectively\, they are organizing a Local Conference of Youth in collaboration with other climate movements. The LCOY\, happening on the 27th and 28th of September\, is a national conference on climate change\, where Dutch youth will gather to pool ideas for a joint Dutch statement.
